The program of basketball development in the Geological prospecting college was worked out on the basis of an approximate program of sports training for youth sports universities and colleges on the basis of normative documents regulating the work of sports sections, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Education, the Charter of the College.

The curriculum is based on the basic principles of sports training of young athletes, the results of scientific research and best sports practice.

The basic principles: 

Complexity – provides for a close relationship of all aspects of the training process (physical, technical and tactical, psychological and theoretical training, educational work and rehabilitation measures, pedagogical and medical control).

This work program includes the following steps:

  • techniques
  • tactical action
  • game of basketball

They have great opportunities for the formation of vital motor skills and the development of physical abilities of students.

  • the popularization of basketball as a sport to enhance the health, physical development and increase the performance of students;
  • education of students of high moral qualities;
  • formation of practical skills of health saving;
  • upbringing need for systematic and independent physical exercises,
  • acquisition of knowledge in the field of hygiene and medicine, necessary concepts and theoretical information on physical culture and sports;
  • development of basic motor skills.

Depending on the conditions of their activities, the teacher can choose games and exercises that would help students master techniques and perform them at high speed.

Basketball is a team sport. Participation in competitions helps young basketball players to improve their skills, form communicative and health-saving competencies of the individual, contribute to successful social adaptation and development of the ability to solve non-standard situations.

A necessary condition for improving the competitive activity of young basketball players, use of sports facilities and equipment that meets the age and physical development of students.

Goals and objectives of the program:

The purpose of the program is to develop students ‘ sustainable health-saving skills, holistic development of physical and mental qualities, use the potential of physical culture and sports in the formation of a healthy lifestyle and successful social adaptation of students, their professional self-determination.

In accordance with this, the program focuses on achieving the following practical goals with its practical task:

           

  • improving the quality of selecting students with a high level of motivation for basketball and teaching them through the entire system of long-term training;
  • strengthening the work on mastering individual techniques and improving the skills of performing technical techniques and their methods;
  • increasing the role and scope of tactical training as the most important condition for the implementation of individual technical potential of individual basketball players and the team as a whole within the selected systems of the game and group tactics in attack and defense;
  • implementation of integrated training through the interaction of technical, tactical and physical training, skillful construction of training and control games in order to solve the main tasks by type of training;
  • further development of coordination (orientation in space, rearrangement of motor actions, speed and accuracy of response to signals, coordination of movements, rhythm, balance, accuracy of reproduction and differentiation of the main parameters of movements) and conditioning (speed-power, speed, endurance, strength and flexibility) abilities;
  • formation of basic knowledge about personal hygiene, the impact of physical exercise on the main systems of the body, the development of strong-willed and moral qualities;
  • better understanding of the sport-basketball, competitions, compliance with safety rules during training, first aid for injuries;
  • form the habit of self-employment in this sport in free time;
  • forming an adequate assessment of own physical capabilities;
  • fostering initiative, independence, and mutual assistance,
  • discipline, sense of responsibility

Report on the Basketball competition for the GPC championship among young men.

From November 2 to November 31, 2019 in the gym of GPC, basketball competitions among young men were held.

25 teams participated in the competition.

The games were held according to the Olympic system.

According to the results of the competition, the places were distributed as follows:

The 1st place was given to a group of Bk 72

2nd place – took the group Bk 62

The 3rd place took the group I 81

The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

The competition was held at a high emotional level with good physical training of the players
