On October 31, 2025, the KGP on REM “Geological Exploration College” hosted the 9th Regional Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Young Researchers’ Creativity — a Contribution to Building a Competitive State.”

Holding this conference has become a good tradition of the college, aimed at developing students’ scientific potential, supporting their research interests, and fostering an active, creative generation of young professionals.

The event was dedicated to the memory of Maral Albekovich Almkhanov — a talented leader, teacher, and mentor, a person of great culture, generous heart, and boundless energy, who devoted his entire life to education and the upbringing of youth.

The conference brought together 153 students from colleges of the Abai and East Kazakhstan regions, as well as other regions of Kazakhstan and Russia.
Participants presented research projects on topical issues such as the integration of IT technologies into the economy, problems of language and speech culture, intercultural communication, preservation of cultural heritage, and the development of advanced technologies.

The students’ works stood out for their relevance, depth of research, and creative approach.
The best projects were recognized by the expert commission and awarded diplomas.

The conference became a significant event in the life of the college and the entire system of technical and vocational education in the region.
It unites young researchers, inspires them to new achievements, and preserves the memory of a teacher who dedicated his life to the development of education and the revelation of human potential.
