The team of the Geological Exploration College took part in the First International Mas-Wrestling (Tayaq-Tartu) Tournament among students and children, organized by AGT GLOBAL.
The tournament was held from June 29 to July 3, 2025, in Astana, on the premises of Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University.
This unique event brought together 110 participants from Kazakhstan, Russia, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and Uzbekistan, representing 15 teams.
Competitors took part in 18 weight categories, demonstrating not only their physical strength and endurance but also determination, strategic thinking, and respect for their opponents.
Students of the Geological Exploration College achieved excellent results, winning two bronze medals:

Additionally, students Sayan Mazhim (Group Gk-42) and Islam Asanuly (Group Gk-31a) were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts for their participation.
Physical education teachers Ruslan Zeinullaevich Rustemov and Kuanysh Nurlybekovich Kamzin served as judges at the tournament, demonstrating professionalism and impartiality in their officiating.
The participation of the Geological Exploration College team in the First International Mas-Wrestling Tournament became one of the most notable events in the college’s sports life. We look forward to continuing this inspiring tradition in the years to come.
