On March 3, 2026, the Regional Competition “Best Presentation” was held at the Geological Exploration College with the support of the Innovative and Methodological Center of the Department of Education of the Abai Region. The competition was organized among students of technical, vocational, and post-secondary education institutions in the Abai Region and was dedicated to the 160th anniversary of Alikhan Bokeikhan.

The purpose of the event was to comprehensively study the legacy of Alikhan Bokeikhan as a political figure, scholar, and publicist; to examine his works in the context of the modern digital stage of Kazakhstan’s development; to promote their contemporary relevance; and to widely introduce the ideas of independence advocated by the national leader into everyday life in order to educate the younger generation and inspire them toward active civic engagement.

A total of 53 students from 12 colleges of the Abai Region took part in the competition. Eleven participants advanced to the second stage, where they defended their presentations.

During the competition for the “Best Presentation,” the following were demonstrated:

• students’ research skills;

• the ability to work with various types of presentations;

• well-structured speech and the ability to clearly express ideas;

• the use of artificial intelligence technologies.

According to the results of the competition:

• First-degree diplomas were awarded to Aigerim Askarova and Alina Askarbekova, students of the M.O. Auezov Pedagogical College;

• the Second-degree diploma was awarded to Ayaulym Yernatkyzy Burat, a student of the Higher Medical College “Semey”;

• the Third-degree diploma was awarded to Timur Rakhymzhanov, a student of the Higher College of IT and New Technologies.

All participants received certificates from the Department of Education of the Abai Region.
