Actions among College students like ” Do good!”, “Give children joy !”Memory” have been held annually since 2006.

The students of the college immediately took under their wing first two actions, for  the children of the orphanage #3, and the center for the adaptation of minors # 8.  On new year’s holidays, students collect money to buy gifts, toys, books for children and prepare new year’s matinees-theatrical performances with fairy-tale characters, Santa Claus and snow Maiden, organize games, dances, and dance songs.

On children’s day, the children prepare fun starts and present ice cream and sweets as gifts. We haven’t lost touch for 14 years, on the contrary the volunteers of the college help us to stay in touch.

The “Memory” campaign is held annually on the eve of the Victory day celebration. We have a burial place of military pilots in the city  who died in the Semipalatinsk hospital. This is the grave of an international crew consisting of 8 people.  College students clean around the grave, paint the fence, monument, star.

The volunteer movement at the College has been working since 2011 and was called “Positive”.  Volunteers established close contacts with the club “Istoki” and participated in city events such as organizing flash mobs in the Central square against HIV infection, cleaning the banks of the Irtysh and the island “Polkovnichyi”, congratulating of the disable children on Christmas holiday and veterans on Victory’s day.

 Thanks to the work of the “Positive” Volunteer club, madrasa students received personal items, shoes, and computers; war veterans and home front workers received food rations for the holiday; 6 disabled children received computers as new year gifts, and a nursing Home – concert programs.

2020 was declared the year of Volunteers by the President of the country.  We have made a plan and are working on several areas: cultural ,social, HLS, inclusive, environmental, and so on.

Our volunteers participated in the city and regional meetings of volunteers, they have got a boost of energy and prepared a number of events for the children of the orphanage No. 8 and the center for adaptation of minors. The volunteers organized a campaign ” Give children joy!”, which provides with toys, carnival costumes, necessary material for the work of the club of applied art orphans.  Volunteers prepared a new year’s fairy tale, an entertainment program to promote healthy lifestyle. The children celebrated the New year with games and dances, but most importantly, each of them received sweet gifts.

Since the New year, it has snowed a lot that’s why volunteers suggested  orphanage to clean the yard and ice rink from snow.

On Valentine’s day, volunteers organized a wall of wishes and congratulations at the College, where everyone could write their wishes, addressing not only girls and boys, but also teachers.

On the day of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, volunteers organized a concert program and performed at the social service center.  The concert program included Abay songs, military songs, and songs by Kazakh and foreign composers.  The labor veterans were very happy, they sang along with us and danced. At the end, we were thanked for the concert, good mood, attention and care.
