           The Ecology Subject-Cycle Commission is an association of teachers of natural sciences (chemistry, biology, ecology) and special Environmental Engineering disciplines that work in the full-time and part-time departments. Ecology SCC is an administering sub-department.

          The senior teacher of Ecology SCC is a Chemistry teacher Ospanova Aigul Kanatovna.

            The Ecology SCC includes 7 teachers and 1 laboratory assistant. They are 4 teachers of the highest category, 1 teacher of the first category, 2 teachers without a category.

           According to the results of the 2016-2017 academic year, the Ecology SCC took 2nd place; according to the results of the 2017-2018 academic year – 2nd place; according to the results of the 2018-2019 academic year the Ecology SCC took 1st place in the college in the rating of the SCC.

          In the 2017-2018 academic year  an Ecology week was held. Every year teachers of the SCC conduct an Olympiad in Chemistry among schoolchildren of Semey city.

           Since 2018 students of the specialty 1514000 “Ecology and the rational use of natural resources of subsoil use” participate in competency R-06 “Technology of laboratory and chemical analysis” in the international movement WorldSkills, which popularizes working professions and raises standards of professional training. Kylychzhanova Gulara took 1st place, Bolatova Ayaulym – 2nd place, Beissenova Ademi – 3rd place in the regional WorldSkills Shygys-2018 championship.

           In 2019 teachers and students of the SCC took part in the IV regional WorldSkills Shygys-2019 championship in the competence of the Technician of the Chemical Analysis Laboratory, which was organized in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Toktarkhan Dana took the 1st place, Kylychjanova Gulzada – 2nd place, Toleukhanova Aidana – 3rd place in the regional WorldSkills Shygys-2019 championship in the competence of “Technician of the chemical analysis laboratory”.

            In November 2019 our college was represented by a student of the OSk-61 group Toktarkhan Dana in the V Republican Championship “WorldSkills Kazakhstan 2019” under the guidance of a teacher A. Ospanova by competence R-06 “Technology of laboratory and chemical analysis.” Contestant Toktarhan Dana showed a good result and was awarded the medal “Үzdik maman” (the best in the profession).
