A diploma project is an independent graduate work of students that is performed in the final year. It is compiled on the basis of materials collected by students during their pre-graduate practice at various geological prospecting enterprises.

Diploma projects are carried out by students of 4 specialties:

0702000 « Technology and technique of exploration the deposits of useful minerals»

0703000 « Hydrogeology and engineering geology»

0704000 « Geophysical methods of prospecting and exploration the deposits of useful minerals»

The diploma project is completed with the defense of a diploma project compiled by the student, with the invitation of experienced employees of geological exploration enterprises as chairmen and members of the State Qualifying Commission.
