The Geological prospecting Subject-Cycle Commission is an association of teachers of special geological disciplines, the teachers work in the full-time and part-time departments. Geological prospecting SCC is administering sub-department.

The goal and objectives of teachers is not only to teach students the skills of the future profession, but also to foster interest in field conditions in order to become an expert in their sphere.
According to the results of the 2016-2017 academic year, the SCC took 1st place; according to the results of the 2017-2018 academic year – 2nd place; according to the results of the 2018-2019 academic year the SCC took 3rd place in college in the rating of the SCC.
Each academic year, teachers of the SCC conduct a week of geology. Every year, schoolchildren are trained for the regional and international competition “Young Geologists”, where they show excellent knowledge and results.
Students took part in the international competition “Minex 2019-10” in the Mining and Geological Forum that was held in the period from April 2 to 4, 2019 in Astana. The winners were awarded the nomination “Case studies (practical solution) mine Teck 2019”.
The participants of the Forum are Karim Zhadyra, student of group Gk-52e, Abrakhmanov Anwar student of group B-51, Adekhan Azhar student of group F-51e. Head of the group is Turlybayeva Assiya Myrzabekovna.
