On April 16, 2026, the Open Day was held at the Geological Exploration College of the Abai Region Education Department as part of career guidance activities for 9th and 11th grade students.

The event attracted great interest — more than 700 school students visited the college.

A guided tour of the college was organized for the students, where they were introduced to modern specialties, learned about career prospects, and explored opportunities for professional growth.

Particular attention was drawn to interactive tasks and quests in such fields as geology, hydrogeology, drilling, geophysics, and ecology.

The students actively participated in the activities, asked questions, and communicated with teachers and students, gaining a more comprehensive understanding of their future profession.
