On April 24, 2026, the Regional Academic Olympiad in general education subjects among school students of the Abai Region was held at the Geological Exploration College at a high level.

The aim of the event was to foster interest in learning, enhance the level of knowledge, and support talented youth.

A total of 152 students took part in the Olympiad, demonstrating excellent preparation and strong competition in the following subjects:
History of Kazakhstan, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
