15 May 2026, in the city of Semey, the Republican Student Forum “DISCOVERING THE WORLD OF PROFESSIONS” took place at the Geological Prospecting College.
The aim of the forum was to increase interest in geological specialties, support talented youth, and promote students’ professional self-development. The organizers were the “Talap” and the Geological Prospecting College.
Teams from the Ulytau Region, Kyzylorda Region, and Abai Region took part in the forum, as well as an international team from Novosibirsk.
The forum experts included industry representatives:

▪️ Diana Bakytbek — Resource Geologist at Altynalmas
The forum became a platform for exchanging experience, generating new ideas, and fostering the professional growth of future specialists.
