Graduate employment

The college has been engaged into the employment of its graduates for many years which seldom occurs among other educational institutions. Graduate employment is a priority for the college.

The college’s activities are aimed at organizing of strong human resource capacity for enterprises. This has led to a sustainable relationship and trust between employers and college.

How does graduate employment take place?

In May of each year the Department of Career guidance, Employment and Monitoring managers:

• post preliminary applications of employers;

• interview graduate students;

• take into account registered applications for graduates sent from enterprises after the practice;

• discuss employers’ applications with graduation groups.

Do rating lists have an effect on employment?

Final accumulative rating lists play a crucial role in employment, since those students who are at the top of the rating list have an opportunity to go to the most perspective companies.

How is graduation choice held?

Every year employers are invited to the diploma paper presentation and final state examinations. They present there as members of the SQC (State Qualification Commission). After that representatives from enterprises employ graduates who have appropriate skills for further work.

What is taken into account in the allocation to work?

1. Registered invitations from enterprises after the practice;

2. Test and training results;

3. Employers interviews.

How are graduates employed into foreign enterprises?

Managers of the international enterprises Schlumberger, Halliburton, LLP SP KATCO, apply its special method of graduates selection.  As a rule, during the year prior to the graduation paper presentation, recruitment managers come to college, view resumes, questionnaires, personal files, talk to teachers, heads of practices, dormitory teachers, the Department of Career guidance, Employment and Monitoring managers, take into account recommendations where knowledge of English is specified. Afterwards they present the company, test and complete their work with job candidates  interviews.

Is it possible to re-organize graduates?

In case of the enterprise business failure or non-compliance of application conditions graduates are re-developed to other enterprises within 3 years after the graduation from the college. It should be noted that the re-development is a unique phenomenon and is presented only in our college.
