The period of entry of a novice teacher into the profession is characterized by tension, importance for his personal and professional development. How it will be held depends on whether the new teacher will be held as a professional.

The goal of the College’s methodological service with young teachers is to adapt the teacher in the College – to achieve the maximum possible return on the hired specialist.


“School of the young teacher” aims at professional development of teachers of the College through increasing the level of their professional competence, improving the effectiveness of their pedagogical activity in the system of technical and professional education at the present stage.

        Methodical work with young teachers in the College within the school of the young teacher are conducted in following directions: formation of system of knowledge about the modern requirements to teach the new technologies of professional training, methods of control and testing, modeling, course content, practice skills design and modeling of lessons of theoretical and practical training

Work within the School of a young Teacher

Each young teacher is assigned a mentor in order to adapt them and improve their professional level. Tutors assist in the development of work programs and calendar-themed plans, the development of educational and methodological complexes, attend classes and assist in the preparation of overtime planning. It is practiced to attract experienced teachers to conduct training seminars: “Pedagogical requirements for a modern lesson”, «lesson Structure. Choosing teaching methods”, “how to prepare guidelines for laboratory and practical classes”, “Introspection and analysis of the lesson”, “the three-Fold goal of the lesson”, “Conflicts and ways to resolve them” an Effective way to assist in the preparation and conduct of lessons is the annual week of a young teacher. During the week, experienced teachers of the College conduct demonstration lessons and master classes.

Working in the framework of the School of young Teacher allows young professionals to improve their professional level. As practice has shown, after three or four years of work, a novice teacher is able to build their own pedagogical professional path, successfully pass the certification, which requires a high level of professional competence development.
